Soft drinks group Britvic has reported an 11.1% increase in half-year EBITDA on total branded sales up 9.3% to £353.6m.

Sales in still soft drinks rose 8.5% to £166.8m while sales in carbonated drinks rose 9.6% to £175.2m.

The figures had been boosted by exploiting brand strengths in the stills category, sustaining brand activity in carbonates, innovation and international expansion, said CEO Paul Moody.

“The encouraging trading trends seen over the period have continued through the early weeks of the second half and as a result, we remain confident with regard to the full-year outcome,” he added.
