NACS claims proposals to raise the minimum wage by $1.50 to $6.65 an hour will devastate the c-store trade  artificially inflating the cost of entry level jobs and forcing retailers to up prices because they cannot absorb the costs. NACS director of government affairs Allison Shulman said: "NACS members are very concerned about the inevitable result: a ripple effect of higher prices." {{NEWS }}
