Cadbury at the top of the chart is the only brand to remain in the same position as last week. Offers on tinned and boxed chocolates along with selection boxes and biscuits help ensure that the brand remains at number one.
The competition across the whole chart is much closer than in previous weeks as Christmas draws closer, with just nine percentage points separating numbers one and 10.
Walkers moves up the chart to take second place, while Nestlé, Jacobs, Princes, Coca-Cola and Pringles have all been forced down the chart by the increased competition this week.
There are three new entries, including Heinz, Pepsi and McVitie’s, which is the highest new entry this week, coming in at number four.
McVitie’s presents a range of offers on biscuits and snacks, using buy-one-get-one-free offers and price promotions.
Activity on Pepsi, meanwhile, is dominated by buy-one-get-one-free offers with good displays on gondola ends.
