Four out of five retailers questioned said Camelot provided a good service and just 2% said they were unhappy with it. They were less emphatic in their views on the monopoly enjoyed by Camelot, with 42% agreeing with it compared to 20% against. More than a third, 38%, did not have an opinion.
More than half the retailers said the new daily draws had not led to any increase in their sales, compared to 27% who said they had.
The new EuroMillions game received a slightly warmer welcome with 37% saying it had boosted sales compared with 39% who said it had not. Only 13% thought they took more through their terminal now compared with five years ago.
