Camelot has made two appointments to inject new life into its advertising campaigns and boost flagging lottery sales. Steve Lucas is to become sales director and Jo Kenrick will take the post of marketing director. Lucas, 35, was previously the National Lottery operator's head of national account sales and retail marketing. He joined Camelot from Walt Disney where he was UK retail sales manager. Before that he worked for Grand Metropolitan Foods on the Häagen Dazs ice cream brand. He also worked with Lloyds Bowmaker Finance Group as a financial account manager. He began his career as a management trainee at Sainsbury. Lucas said: "I am delighted to be combining forces with Jo and tackling any challenges and opportunities that present themselves during the second licence period." Kenrick, 35, will take up her position in September. She was previously group sales and marketing director for housebuilder Wilson Connolly. Before that she was Woolworth's brand communications controller and marketing director of George clothing for Asda, where she helped establish the brand. {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
