Expansion plans have been unveiled by Dhamecha Foods, the largest member of the Today's Group. The cash and carry company has bought a site in Croydon, its third acquisition in just over three years, which will give it a presence in south London for the first time. The building is being converted into a 75,000 sq ft depot and will open in the near future, according to the company. Dhamecha already has cash and carry depots at Wembley, Islington and Barking. Joint chief executive Manish Dhamecha said: "We're delighted to announce another expansion, which reflects the excellent trading performance of our group. "We'll work closely with the Today's Group for a major launch for the depot, because its previous launch promotions have proved very successful." {{NEWS }}
