C-stores and independents can now buy their own ATM with a risk free option to sell it back if it doesn't make them money, according to operator Cash Point Machines. Sales and marketing director Ed Ram said the HFC Bank sponsored system would make money with 10 transactions a day. "However if the withdrawal level falls below that during any period of six months for the life of the machine we will take it back." The self fill system has been trialled at 25 sites ranging from holiday park grocery stores to CTNs over four months. It lets retailers use trading cash and they receive 60p of every £1 transaction charge. Funds are paid direct into the retailer's account through Link. The ATMs, from US Triton Machines, can produce offer coupons specific to the retailer. Keypad advertising is also possible. The start up package is £5,995. {{NEWS }}
