Petrol company Total has linked with Crimestoppers for a forecourt safety campaign across its 1,250 forecourts. The new Forecourt Reward Scheme offers money to members of the public who can supply information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators of any crime committed on a Total site. Rewards can range from £500 through to £10,000, depending on the severity of the crime. Gary Jones, Total UK md said: "The issue of forecourt crime is an industry wide concern and Total has been looking at how best to combat this for some time." We are taking tough yet positive measures to effectively prevent crime, protect staff and customers and pursue and prosecute criminals." {{NEWS }}
