Coors Brewers off-trade sales director Chris Edger has left and has been replaced by Kevin Brownsey.
Edger worked for the company for 15 years. He had been off-trade sales director since July 2002.
Before that he was commercial director for Coors Brewers and prior to that he was commercial development director at Bass Leisure Entertainments. He said he was leaving to pursue entrepreneurial ideas and other avenues.
Brownsey said: "Chris leaves the business in good shape. He has just got to that stage in his career when he wants to explore other opportunities and broaden his horizons. My imminent objectives will be to look at Christmas trading, focusing on Carling, Reef, Grolsch and Caffreys."
He said he aimed to build on Coors Brewers' current sales strategy by capitalising on brand strength, broadening the range of packs, and developing consumption occasions.
He was previously HR and communications director, and has held senior sales and marketing posts at Coors.
They include multiple retail sales director for Coors' take home division, sales and marketing director for Bass Beers Worldwide, and on-trade sales managing director of Bass Brewers North.
Coors Brewers chief executive Peter Kendall said: "Kevin's experience in the off-trade will be an asset to this growing area and I am confident he will rise to this challenge."
