Supermarkets and c-stores in Brighton and Hove sold alcohol to test-purchasing minors even though they wore T-shirts suggesting they were underage.
Two police cadets, aged 16 and 17, visited 19 stores attempting to buy booze. The teenagers wore the T-shirts in the picture above.
Despite spelling out their age, eight stores were caught serving them - a failure rate of 42%. The stores will not face prosecution, but were warned they would face the courts if caught again.
