Chefs climb Kilimanjaro for Farm Africa

The chefs raised money for Farm Africa with their trek

A group of celebrity chefs have successfully scaled Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Farm Africa.

The group slept in tents on the 5,895m Kenyan mountain at night and ate basic rations.

“As chefs, our lives revolve around great food in luxurious surroundings,” said Ashley Palmer-Watts, head chef at Heston Blumenthal’s restaurant, Dinner. “But beyond our restaurant walls there are close to a billion people going hungry every day.”
