Premier International Foods is using the Cadbury Land Yowie brand's child appeal to bring younger consumers to the hot beverages fixture, with the launch of an eponymous hot chocolate in September. There are six different Yowie character shaped jars of hot chocolate in the range, each containing a capsule. In the capsule is either a wildlife figure or a limited edition Yowie pencil top. The launch will be supported throughout September by a marketing campaign. This includes instore sampling, covermounts in children's press, giveaways with women's magazines and a competition in a TV Times promotion. It will also benefit from Yowie confectionery activity, which includes sponsorship of wildlife programmes, and a Yowie web site. The Yowie brand, launched in May 1999, is aimed at five to 12 year olds. {{P&P }}
