The rash of spring and Easter activity includes the launch of an Easter Chocolate Ale from Liverpool brewer Robert Cain. This joins the growing collection of specialist premium ales using unusual ingredients or specific named varieties of hops. Chocolate is becoming a popular addition. This version uses dark chocolate and extract of cocoa beans. It has been packaged in Cain's 500ml bottles exclusively for Asda, which has listed it nationally.
