The Conservative Commission into Small Shops on the High Street has paid a visit to independent retailer Harry Tuffins as it continues its review into the future of the UK's town centres.

Ludlow MP Philip Dunne and Association of Convenience Stores CEO James Lowman visited the Harry Tuffins in Ludlow.

The store hit the headlines a year ago when it was claimed Tesco had tried to "sabotage" its opening by sending out discount vouchers to locals.

The Commission was launched in August last year to investigate the problems faced by independent retailers. Its report is expected to be published in the spring.
