Scottish Courage has announced changes to its senior marketing team.

Brand director Andy Neal has been promoted to the newly-created role of consumer marketing director.

He takes responsibility for all brand marketing activities, including driving Foster’s and John Smith’s in the on-trade.

Neal joined Scottish Courage in 2001 from outdoor media company More Group, based in Scotland, where he was MD. He has also worked for United Distillers where he was head of marketing.

John Botia, brands director for Foster’s and John Smith’s, will join ScotCo’s regional on-trade division as managing director of Newcastle Breweries, the company’s north-east sales arm.
