A virtual store will be one of the features at the new look Convenience Retailing Show 2001, which takes place at Birmingham NEC between March 13 and 15. It features a 3d visual presentation showing how c-stores can be changed to create extra space and puts forward ideas for maximising sales. Another new feature will be the Platform ­ where interviews, tutorials and seminars on key business topics will take place. One top speaker will be theft control expert Jack Henry who is being flown in from the United States to deliver a seminar on loss prevention. More than 200 major exhibitors will be promoting products and services at the show. And the Association of Convenience Stores timed its annual conference to take place at the same time as the show.
