Frozen food retailer Cook is tapping into the UK self-catering holiday market by targeting holidaymakers who don't want to cook while they are on holiday.
It is pushing its food as a quick and easy alternative to home cooking while on holiday through its latest newsletter and website.
Goods can be delivered straight to a holiday home anywhere in the UK or collected from any Cook store, packaged in ice packs.
"We have had lots of letters and emails from people saying what a massive difference our food made to them while on holiday," added Cook co-founder Edward Perry.
Meanwhile, Cook has opened its 27th store in Godalming. The retailer said in February it planned to open 10 new stores this year following its relocation to a larger factory in Kent that had given it the capacity to support new stores. Godalming is the sixth to open since February and will be followed by one in Witney, Oxfordshire.
