Danone has reported a 9.5% increase in third-quarter like-for-like sales.

The food and drink group also reported that like-for-like sales for the first nine months of the financial year had increased by 9.1%. Consolidated sales increased 9.3% to E10.772m.

“The acceleration of organic growth observed in the third-quarter is mainly due to the very good performance of the beverages business in Asia. In Europe, the level of activity has been satisfactory,” it added.
