Demand soaring for c-store sites

Demand for convenience store and CTN sites has rocketed 30% in the last year says estate agent Christie and Co. Director Mark Sheehan said: "There is a big site battle going on among independents, symbol groups and increasingly the multiples for convenience sites. "We have seen a 30% rise in sales in the last 12 months." He said Christie and Co is increasingly seeing competitive bidding for better quality outlets which take between £8,000 and £50,000 a week. The company handled the disposal of the 33-strong Leda Stores chain, finalising the sales of 26 of the sites within two months. {{NEWS }}
