New internet portal Spacebuster will "stand the distribution market on its head" according to its creators. Grocery retailers and manufacturers will be a key target for the warehouse space-matching service, which launches in September. Spacebuster director Charles Binks said: "Our research shows that the peak period for companies seeking spare capacity is over the summer, as retailers build their Christmas stock. "The flexibility we can provide will mean the stress can be removed from seasonal peaks." Short-lease warehouse space which would otherwise be left empty will be advertised on the site, with photographs and floor plans. {{NEWS }}
