Fairtrade brand Divine Chocolate is developing a number of new products this year, including handmade truffles, a Belgian selection box and a bakery range of minis.

The products will be packaged in the redesigned black and gold livery, which was launched last year across bars and is now rolling out across the rest of its portfolio.

The truffles will be available in strawberry & cream and milk chocolate & Champagne and will be launched in time for Christmas.

The bakery minis, rolling out now into Waitrose, are bagged sharing versions of its single lines of brownies, muffins and cookies. It is also launching a strawberry & cream white chocolate flavour into its 100g bar range.

"In some retailers organic chocolate is declining while Fairtrade is still in strong growth," said national account manager David Greenwood-Haigh.
