Family-owned port company Symington's has broken with tradition for a revamp of its Dow's brand. Paul Symington, joint managing director, said: "Most port labels are rather dull and predictable, the basic colours are always white and red on a black background. "We believe a fresh, innovative approach is needed if port is to develop in the future and we are prepared to be challenging in our marketing."
