Drambuie has revealed details of a Christmas advertising campaign for its whisky liqueur just two weeks after a similar campaign was announced for new sister brand Drambuie Cream.
The brand has been absent from TV screens for 10 years and the ad for the parent brand shows a scene at a party where a couple decide to remain after hearing Drambuie liqueur being poured over ice.
The Put Tomorrow on Ice' theme aims to position the spirit as a contemporary drink for younger consumers.
Patrick Venning, marketing director for Drambuie, said: "The increased visibility of Drambuie, as a result of our return to television screens, combined with other marketing activity, will introduce it to new consumers." Drambuie said it would continue to sponsor the World Ice Golf Championship, held in Greenland, and UK skier Alain Baxter as part of the push.
