Dougal, Ermintrude, Zebedee and friends are set to provide the magic behind Kinnerton’s next Easter range.
The licensed confectionery specialist has signed up the licence for The Magic Roundabout movie, which is being released by Pathé on
February 11, to adorn a raft of its Easter offerings including some new products.
Characters will appear on Kinnerton’s chocolate Easter eggs (rsp: £1.49) and breakfast sets (£4.99 for a pack containing a cereal bowl, egg cup, mug and two chocolate eggs).
They will also front some new products from Kinnerton, including an egg cup, chocolate egg and cosy set (£1.99); Spring Time Treats (containers of mini chocolate eggs and egg-shaped marshmallow - £1.99); and Easter Clock Lamps, which are packs containing a chocolate egg alongside a keepsake bedside clock with touch lamp.
Another new product includes The Simpsons Torch Light - a drinks can-style torch with chocolate egg (£3.99).
Other licences - notably Barbie, Spider-Man 2, Fimbles and Shrek 2 - will also be out in force at Easter.
But Kinnerton is particularly excited about Postman Pat as a brand new series of 26 programmes is being broadcast on BBC2 and CBeebies in the new year to follow up the 26 episodes that were shown this autumn.
