The Grocer is to sponsor the 2006 British Egg Awards, which will recognise the innovative use of eggs and egg marketing in retail and foodservice.
Categories include best Lion eggs retail display, best new Lion eggs product/packaging, and best product marketing. Winners will be announced at the National Egg Conference dinner in Birmingham on March 22. Andrew Parker, chairman of the British Egg Industry Council, which organises the awards, said: “The awards reward companies that have developed products and initiatives that drive the market forward.”
