Infant food specialist Ella’s Kitchen has handed the sales and distribution for all channels outside of the multiples to RH Amar.
It hopes the move will boost its presence in ‘out of home’ markets such as travel, leisure and foodservice.
The maker of organic food for babies and toddlers said it wanted to be more “accessible” to families when they were out and about together.
Simon Fry, marketing director at RH Amar, claimed the company’s expertise in distributing premium speciality foods made it well-suited to expand Ella’s Kitchen into outlets beyond the supermarkets.
“We plan to drive distribution of the award winning Ella’s Kitchen into more out-of-home channels,” Fry said.
“This means busy mums can find healthy, organic food with interesting flavours for their babies wherever they are; out shopping, travelling, dining out or just to keep in their bag for baby’s snack.”
