Seven Seas is hoping to bring the popularity of energy drinks to the OTC drugs category with the launch of Seven Seas Boost energy tablets. Each tablet contains caffeine and glucose, together with essential B vitamins  said to aid the release of energy  and Taurine, an amino acid which provides the metabolic boost in most energy drinks. Rolling out now, they are available in 10-tablet individual tubes (rsp: £2.99) or two-tube cartons (£5.49). Outdoor advertising and ambient promotions will run in major UK cities for the next three months. The company aims to take share from other areas of the energy/vitality sector, which it values at £28m. {{P&P }}
