CDs, videos, fresh flowers, newspapers and magazines, and sandwiches are among the new features being introduced at the Kwik Save stores being revamped as part of the discounter's £15m clean-up. So far six stores have had a facelift, with the Kwik Save in Paddington, London, (pictured), the latest to get the treatment. Kwik Save hopes the new features will encourage more passing trade in its bid to boost sales per square foot by 10%. The discount chain, owned by Somerfield, is entering a busy period.
