The awards are open to all firms and individuals involved in the food industry and will be presented on October 19.
This year there will be a new award that will recognise excellence in addressing availability. The ECR UK Award for On-Shelf Availability will be presented to a company that demonstrates how it has made an improvement to on-shelf availability. The other categories are: The Tate & Lyle Young Managers’ Business Challenge; the John Sainsbury Award for Learning and Development; the Sir Alistair Grant Award for Outstanding Small Business; the Ian MacLaurin Award for Supply Chain Excellence; the Nestlé Social Commitment Award; the Tetra Pak Environmental Packaging Design Award; and the Unilever Award.
Closing date for entries is July 16.
