Swiss chocolate specialist Lindt is relaunching its Excellence range at the beginning of September, adding three permanent flavours and packaging that highlights ingredients. Two of the three new recipes ­ White Coconut and 85% Cocoa ­ were trialled successfully in selected Waitrose branches earlier this year. A Macadamia Nut variant also joins the range, bringing the total to seven. One million special 100g packs carry two free mini samples of the new flavours, while a promotion with Swissair runs on twin packs of 100g bars, offering return flights to Switzerland for £79. Two weeks of TV advertising will debut on October 15, with a theme centred on Lindt's 150-year heritage in chocolate-making. PoS material is available.
