A new packaging film which offers a cost saving of up to 20% at the same time as providing improved performance is now available from National Flexible. Developed in the US, the film employs a new thermoforming technique which eliminates much of the creasing, cracking and corner splitting that often occurs during standard film extrusion methods. National Flexible says the film, which is ideal for packing pitta, part baked and ethnic breads, has been successfully trialled with bacon, cheese and specialist bread products. {{FOCUS SPECIALS }}
