PDA Essentials, a new magazine from Paragon Publishing, hits the shelves on October 18. The 52-page A4 title claims to be the only UK magazine dedicated to getting more from hand-held organisers. The title details new software, upgrades and utilities for all types of handheld organisers and includes easily downloadable software from the covermounted CD. In addition, the editorial includes a hardware buyer's guide covering all the new and existing PDAs on the market. The free CD on the launch title contains more than 400 programs that add to the functionality of PDAs. The launch will be highlighted by web tv coverage, local radio promotions and cross-title advertising in Paragon's PC and internet portfolio. The title is aiming at a core readership of ABC1 males aged 25 and above. Retailers should display the title alongside portable computer magazines. Cover price is £4.99 and distribution is by Seymour. {{CTN }}
