Tiger Bay Beverages has launched a range of smoothies with herb extracts aimed at meeting specific relaxation and invigoration needs. The company, which supplies Students’ Union retail outlets, Texaco forecourts and Compass foodservice outlets, said its PET bottling techniques gave the drinks a six-month shelf life, reducing retailers’ risk of wastage.

Chill Out contains mangoes and oranges plus a herb called avena sativa. Vitalise blends apricots and apples with spirulina, which is rich in minerals. Energise has raspberries, cranberries and rhodiola, which is said to boost the immune system, while Enrich contains strawberries and bananas with vitamins A,C, and E.
