The Food Standards Agency has launched an investigation into a meat and poultry coldstore operated by Euro Freeze.

The FSA said that a visit to the coldstore, in Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh, had led to its contents being detained and any further distribution of meat stopped.

It added that the focus of the enquiry was on repackaging and re-labelling activity on the premises, and that emerging evidence suggested the use of illicit health marks.
