The winners of this year’s GRAMIAs have been announced by the judges for the Grocery Advertising and Marketing Industry Awards.
Leo Burnett chairman Bruce Haines, who chaired the judging panel, commented: "All of the judges are in agreement that this year’s GRAMIA award winners represented a fine selection of great work. We found this particularly encouraging given the extreme pressures the communications industry has faced over the last couple of years. Congratulations to the winning advertisers and their agencies."
The GRAMIAs, organised by William Reed, publisher of The Grocer, recognise creative excellence across 10 categories and reward the leading agencies in eight categories.
The awards climax at a glittering ceremony at the London Hilton on Tuesday September 30 when the overall Golden Gramia winner in each category will be announced.
Guests at the black tie event will be treated to a champagne reception, three-course dinner, dancing and casino.
The event is sponsored by retail media specialist The Media Vehicle, which will also sponsor the non-traditional media category.
The other category sponsors are: SCA Packaging, which is sponsoring the packaging category; Financial Times is sponsoring the press category; Hot Shot Beverages is sponsor of the direct mail category; the poster category is sponsored by Viacom; and the radio category is sponsored by Newsagents Radio.
