German supermarket chain Edeka has threatened to sue Italian carmaker Fiat if it fails to deliver a fleet of Puntos offered in a bumper promotion on the grocer's website and in selected stores. Edeka claims it struck a deal with a Berlin Fiat dealer to buy the cars, which were to be sold as part of a mega deal combining a Punto, a scooter, a printer, camera and mobile phone for just 12,500 euro. Fiat countered with a court injunction to block the deal, which it claims, contravenes German law. {{NEWS }}
