Snack specialist Ginsters is to try to capture a new audience by introducing a range aimed at kids.

The Cornish producer, best known for its adult-targeted, eating-on-the-hoof sandwiches and pasties, has signed a three-year licensing deal to use new cartoon characters on a range of Cornish Riviera Pasties.

The characters, the property of Galleon Holdings, are set to hit TV screens in their own series towards the end of the year and will also front a whole portfolio of new Ginsters products which are still in development.
