Ginsters has revamped its sandwiches to emphasise their British heritage and local ingredients.

New pack designs will roll out across the 29-strong range in two weeks’ time, with Union Jack symbols flagging up the British fillings. Ginsters will combine this with its first range of rolls, which will be available in large format sizes in cheese salad, chicken & bacon and ham salad flavours, rsp £3.39.

“Despite the economic pressures, consumers are still looking for the quality reassurance that fresh British ingredients deliver,” said Andy Valentine, head of brand marketing.
