Ginsters' latest snack concept, Microwaveable Melts, is a cross between a sandwich and a hot meal. Designed to be eaten as a brunch snack or on the move, the new product is targeted at fast food fans. Each of the two varieties, which hit shelves this week, can be eaten cold or heated for a minute in a microwave. Breakfast Cheese Melt consists of bacon, sausage, cheddar cheese, egg and tomato relish on a white sub roll, while Beef and Onion Cheese Melt is also a white sub roll with onions and wholegrain mustard. Rsp: £2.99. Joss Davidge, head of marketing, said they would broaden the brand's appeal. Ginsters is supporting the launch with on-shelf wobblers, and can supply microwaves. {{P&P }}
