Independents across the country have given a resounding welcome to Grocer TV which went on air for the first time last week. Screened on Sky Digital Channel 642, it is the first series conceived and produced for the independent sector. Clive Beddall, editor of The Grocer, said on Thursday:"Our first two programmes have been a big hit with independent retailers. We're delighted with the response from viewers and we're looking forward to breaking more exclusive stories on air very soon" The half-hour programme is screened twice between 7am and 8am every Wednesday and contains an exciting mix of up to the minute news, personalities, trading tips, pricing information, competitions and product promotions all designed to help independents increase profits.
