William Reed Publishing has redesigned its popular online job site grocerjobs.co.uk. The upgraded site gives more space for jobs with up to 20 new vacancies advertised a day on the front page. Front page job spots let a user click on a company logo to get a list of the vacancies which the company has on offer. And the popular video jobs sections still lets the job hunter take a virtual tour of a prospective workplace. These new measures and increased functionality make the site quicker and easier to use. The redesign is being supported by new look press advertising to encourage job seekers to log on. Grocer online sales executive Kelly Oldershaw said: "The new look site gives advertisers a fantastic opportunity to brand their company with a banner now available on the front page of site. "The site is bringing in more than a third more responses for clients using the site along with the magazine. They are receiving CVs before the magazine is even out." She added: "We are always looking at improving the site and giving advertisers more opportunity to brand themselves, so watch this space!"
