Grocery prices have fallen for the third month in a row, The Grocer Price Index shows.
The survey, which tracks 100 commonly bought grocery items in the big four supermarkets, shows prices fell by 0.1% in the past month, although prices have risen by 1.1% overall in the past six months. However, the deflationary trend has almost cancelled out the impact of the sharp rise after Christmas, when prices climbed by 2.6% between January and February.
