XBM magazine, the first unofficial Xbox magazine to hit UK shelves, launches on November 15. The super A4, perfect-bound title, which has an initial print run of 88,000, is centred on Microsoft's new game console Xbox, which launches in the UK on March 14. XBM is the first unofficial Xbox magazine to hit the UK and will be timed to capitalise on the pre-Christmas hype planned by Microsoft for Xbox. The console will be launched in March but Microsoft plans to start its $500m marketing campaign this year. Nick Roberts, managing editor, says: "Our new title XBM will capture the excitement of this new console with the first issue showcasing all the big games Microsoft has got planned for launch." Issue three, on sale in January, will come with an exclusive video covermount showcasing all the new Xbox games and Paragon says the title will be regularly promoted with value books and gifts. The new title will also be promoted across Paragon's gaming portfolio. Aimed at ABC1 males between the ages of 18 and 35 with a high disposable income, XBM has a cover price of £3.20. Distribution is by Seymour. {{CTN }}
