Whyte & Mackay has appointed Richard Hayes as global marketing director in preparation for a £100m relaunch of its brands worldwide.
Hayes joins Whyte & Mackay after a nine-year career at Allied Domecq, where he was European marketing director for core brands.
Hayes will take responsibility for marketing the brands Whyte & Mackay, Jura, Vladivar, The Dalmore and Glayva. He said: “This is a fantastic time to join Whyte & Mackay and I am delighted to be part of the team. There is a dynamic and positive spirit and we are committed to growing the brands’ value both in the domestic and global markets.”
