Hazlewood Grocery has appointed three business unit directors as it absorbs Meridian Foods into the Greencore-owned business. Patrick Brunt, Peter Brett and Renny Hemingway initially take collective responsibility for all areas of the grocery business, from cooking sauces, to cakes and chilled desserts. They are expected to develop speciality areas in the future. Brunt, 37, was previously Meridian's sales director. Before joining Meridian he held national account positions with Northern Foods, Dairy Crest and Patak, covering brand and own branded activity. Brett, 35, has worked for Hazlewood for the past four years, initially in marketing and then in sales as a business unit director Hemingway, 43, has been at Hazlewood for three and a half years in a business unit development role.
