Procter & Gamble is adding a new aquatic variant to its dandruff-busting shampoo brand.
Head & Shoulders Ocean Energy contains Dead Sea salt, seaweed and kelp extracts which, according to P&G, give an invigorating sensation for both hair and scalp and adds extra body and volume to hair.
The newcomer will be available from January 15 and supported with a £5m
marketing package, including television and press advertising as well as in-store activity and promotions scheduled for May.
The ‘ocean scented fragrant’ shampoo will retail at £1.79 for 200ml and £3.44 for 400ml.
Trade marketing manager Paul Lettice said the newcomer would generate extra sales for the brand and bring excitement to the category.
