BBC Worldwide is calling on retailers to help revive the fortunes of its ailing BBC Wildlife magazine. The publisher believes the monthly title is often mistaken for a cuddly' magazine aimed primarily at children, and is displayed on the news stands alongside pet titles. BBC Worldwide is asking newsagents to ensure it is placed with more heavyweight' magazines such as National Geographic. BBC Wildlife showed a 17% year on year fall in sales to just over 60,000 in the recent ABC circulation figures. However, the publisher believes correct retail display, along with the improvements it is making to the magazine, can halt the decline. The title's distributor Frontline will be taking the message about display to retailers throughout the coming weeks. {{CTN }}
