US confectionery company Hershey Foods is planning to unveil new sugar-free products in 2003 and is considering expanding into the market for snacks.

The plans are currently confidential but it is reported that in the first three months of 2003, the company will produce four items “for the calorie-conscious and diabetics.”

In addition, Hershey is also said to be looking for partners to market its brands outside of the US. Currently 90% of the company’s sales are in the US and 95% within North America.
