Saxby’s, the ready-to-use pastry manufacturer, has promoted Brian Homewood, its operations director, to the newly created role of commercial director.
Homewood will have overall responsibility for Saxby’s sales, marketing and supply chain management. He has been with the company for three years, having joined from sandwich supplier Buckingham Foods.
Meanwhile, Simon Proctor has been appointed factory manager. He joins from international dairy processor and food ingredients group Glanbia and has also worked in production management for the RHM subsidiary British Bakeries.
Saxby’s has also appointed Sebastian Boulanger as product development manager. He joins from French patisserie company Maison Blanc Park Royal and has worked as a chef patissier, pastry sous chef and head pastry chef.
