A Scottish-based company is launching what it claims is Britain's first spiced rum liqueur.
Lord Nelson is the work of the liqueur producer of the same name which has already introduced a range of whisky liqueurs including the Hebridean Whisky Liqueur. It describes the new spirit as a "blend of demerara rum from the Caribbean, combined with caramel and spices".
Company director Roy Lewis said: "We have captured the flavours of an increasingly popular drink, spiced rum, and created a unique tipple. It's a subtle blend of traditional and contemporary flavours."
Rsp is £15.95 for a 50cl bottle.
